In Depth
Weathered Whiskey Wood
Ancient as it may be, there is an undeniable refinement about whiskey and its production. Whiskey barrels come from hand-selected oak trees, usually from the white oak family, and are the primary means by which the flavor of the final spirit is achieved. The charred inside of a whiskey barrel acts to remove Sulphur while the wood sugars are caramelized and leech into the whiskey. Our weathered whiskey barrel rings are an ode to those smoky barrels that cure your favorite whiskey to maturity.
North American Bull Elk Antler Ring Inlay
We only use naturally shed North American Bull Elk antler that has been harvested from the floors of our nation's forest. So, whether you are an avid hunter with deep respect for animals around you or an animal lover who cherishes the thought of carrying a piece of nature with you wherever you go, you can rest assured no animals were harmed to acquire this beautiful material.
Bronze Inlays
We're all about simplicity in design. To us, that's elegance. We added two bronze inlays to this ring to take it a notch higher, and to give it some refinement and class. The balance of rusticity and Main street appeal make this a great ring for formal or flannel.
Chestnut Liner
Native Americans have historically used different parts of chestnuts for medicinal purposes. The chestnut tree itself needed a bit of medicinal help after the chestnut blight hit the species in the first half of the 20th century, making the American chestnut tree nearly extinct. All of our chestnut wood is reclaimed from old barns near Asheville. The hardy nature of the tree lends to amazing preservation over the years. Restoration efforts are underway to keep this tree going strong.
