Mahogany has a straight, fine, and even grain. Its reddish-brown color darkens over time, and displays a reddish sheen when polished. Mahogany is native to the Caribbean, Central and South American lowland tropical or subtropical forests where rainfall averages between 1 and 2.5 meters. It was used to patch ship planks for Hernando Cortez in 1514 and is still widely harvested today with the United States being the largest importer.
Offset Copper Inlay
The copper inlay adds an extra touch of sophistication to this ring; a touch of Main street with a rustic appeal.
