We used North American naturally shed Elk Antler and Bloodwood inlays to create a truly unique women’s titanium ring: The Susan. This titanium ring captures the spirit of our favorite female archer, Susan Pevensie, and all the women who are willing to fight for what they love.
Our artisan crafters hand-select the elk antler and bloodwood to place into each hypoallergenic titanium band. Create your own custom combination by choosing the lighter or darker elk antler variations. The Story Behind the Ring
Titanium Women's Ring
We love crafting titanium rings for their durability, strength, natural resistance to corrosion, and sleek, lightweight feel.
Titanium is as strong as steel but 45% lighter. The metal is non-toxic to the human body and also hypoallergenic, which is why it's used in various modern-day medical applications. This 100% recyclable eco metal is the 9th most abundant element in earth's crust and has been an essential asset to the development of modern-day American infrastructure and technology.
We crafted our titanium bands not only for their beauty and strength but also to commemorate the impact titanium has made upon modern-day America.
Elk Antler Ring Inlay
We only use naturally shed North American Bull Elk antler that has been harvested from the floors of our nation's forest. So, whether you are an avid hunter with deep respect for animals around you or an animal lover that cherishes the thought of carrying a piece of nature with you wherever you go, you can rest assured no animals were harmed to acquire this beautiful material.
As with anything found in nature, our Bull Elk antler comes in a variety of colors based on the area the antlers were found and the behavior of the Bull Elk. We are able to accommodate your preference between the brighter white elk inlay and the darker shade inlay that shows off the delicate veining in the antler. Please add your preference in your order notes and Carolina will insure your crafter hand-picks the right piece of elk to complement your material choices.
Bloodwood Ring Inlay
Due to its deep red tones, bloodwood has a truly life-giving story. In the ancient jungles of South America, where this tree is found, the sap is fed to infants as a replacement for the mother's milk. We love the dark red of this wood, and the way it's natural tones complement the features of the elk antler ring inlay and titanium ring base of The Susan.
