Our View on Traditional Marriage

Dear customer,

Hey this is Mike and Summer Yarbrough, founders of Rustic and Main. First of all, thank you for taking the time to learn more about our little business and our values. It means a lot to us!

Over the years we've had a few customers ask us if we support gay marriage, or, if their partner is the same sex if they would be treated differently by our business. We know this is a sensitive issue and believe it's important to be transparent and also clear as to what we believe so that you can make an informed decision as to whether or not you would like to purchase a ring from us.

You are an Image Bearer of God

That's what we believe and we treat every customer with the dignity and respect that comes from this belief. We're happy to create rings for anyone who loves the work we do, the sentimentality of our designs, or wants to tell a story through a ring crafted with elements meaningful to them. While we may be in the wedding ring industry, we ultimately believe we are in the people business and we want each person we come in contact with to feel they are valued.

We Support Traditional Marriage

This is likely the main thing you'd like clarification on and we want to be upfront here. As the founders of Rustic and Main, we want to ensure our belief in traditional, Judeo-Christian values are represented in our business. We believe that marriage was designed by God to be between one man and one woman, and this is what we support.

We know through personal experience that strong, respectful relationships can still exist between people who hold different values on important issues.

In conclusion, we want to create amazing rings for people who love them and treat each customer as an individual, not as an extension of a cause or movement. We want to get to know you and create something meaningful for you.

If you have any questions on this, feel free to reach out and let us know

Stay rustic,

Mike & Summer Yarbrough
