Louisiana Bogwood
Bogwood are fallen trees that have been preserved for ages beneath swaps or peat bogs. As they lie there, they absorb the minerals of the bog ultimately becoming petrified wood. However, these old woods are still prized for their incredible strength and durability and are being brought back to the surface to be used for projects not suitable for younger trees.
Pulled from the Louisiana bayou, Bogwood is a timber that has been submerged for decades if not centuries. Over the years, sediment enters the cells of the wood which preserves the wood and gives it a unique color and distinct grain pattern
US Air Force Flight Suit
We use vintage US Air Force flight suit fabric in this ring as a 3/4 edge inlay. While the fabric begins as the well-known olive drab color, it darkens to a deep green when in the ring.
Offset White Gold Inlay
We're all about simplicity in design. To us, that's elegance. We added a white gold inlay to add elegance to this ring.
