10K gold is harder than 14K and 18K, but 14K and 18K are more pure and therefore more valuable. 18K gold has the highest purity and is the most valuable, but it is also the softest among the three. While a 10K gold ring will be nearly identical in color to a 14K gold ring, an 18K gold ring will have a richer, deeper yellow hue due to its higher gold content.

The story behind this ring
The Valor received its jumping point from one of our first rings, The Purple Heart. We created a second ring design to honor our brave men and women who sacrifice their lives for our freedom. A sustainably sourced 100% recycled gold wedding band encases our two ring inlays of M1 Garand Rifle Stock and Purple Heart Wood. Like our Purple Heart Ring, we give 5% of Valor sales to The Independence Fund. This is just a small way to give back to those who fight for our life and liberty every day.

Since our rings are handcrafted to order, it is important for you to use one of our ring sizers and not depend on a traditional jewelers’ sizing kit to get an accurate size. Our rings are different because many are wider than traditional bands and most of our rings come in a comfort fit style.

The Story Behind This Ring
M1 Garand Rifle Stock & Purpleheart Wood
The Valor exists because of The Purple Heart — one of our earliest rings, designed to honor those wounded or killed in service to this country.
This version adds a second material: dark walnut from a WWII-era M1 Garand rifle stock, the primary weapon of the Greatest Generation. Set alongside natural purpleheart wood — a material that is not dyed, but turns deep purple on its own with exposure to light and air — these two inlays reflect both the gravity and the resilience of the people they honor.
We give 5% of Valor sales to The Independence Fund. Handcrafted to order in North Carolina from SCS-certified 100% recycled gold.
