We paired Rosewood a commonly used wood for creating Celtic instruments, and a MacGregor Modern tartan ribbon to craft this wooden wedding band. The MacGregor Modern tartan is the most popular design today. This red, green and white tartan combined with the richly hued Rosewood is a duo that any descendant of Gregor of the Golden Bridles would be proud to wear. All of the tartan we offer is woven in Scotland at The Scotland Shop.

    Dark Indian Rosewood Wooden Wedding Band

    Our Indian Rosewood rings have a wonderfully dark, chocolaty appearance with subtle tones of deep red. Rosewood was carefully chosen to complement the tartan colors in this wedding band, but also because it is a wood often used in the creation of bagpipes. Rosewood is a very hard wood with great moisture and rot resistance. With these features along with its excellent tonal qualities, it’s easy to see why it is such a popular wood among bagpipe enthusiasts.
