Ring Return Policy
Every ring we make is built to order, by hand, for one person. We want you to love it — and on the rare occasion something isn't right, we want the way forward to be simple and clear.
This page covers both wedding bands and engagement rings. Some rules apply to everything; some are specific to one or the other. We've labeled each section so you always know what applies to your ring.

The Basics (applies to all rings)
You have 30 days from the day your ring arrives to start a return or exchange. Rings must be in original, unworn condition.
We don't accept returns after 90 days from delivery, no exceptions.
When you start a return, we'll send a prepaid, insured shipping label. Once your ring is back and inspected, we process your refund or exchange.
Final Sale (applies to all rings)
Some rings can't be returned or exchanged, because they're made or sourced specifically for you and can't be put back into our inventory:
- Custom designs — including engagement rings with custom stones or setting modifications
- Rings made with materials you provided
- Resized or otherwise altered rings
- One-off specialty stones, or any stone marked non-refundable at the time of purchase
Standard interior engraved rings may still be returned, but an engraving removal fee of $45 applies.
Rings with extensive or custom engravings on the inside or outside are not eligible for returns.
Wedding Bands
Standard bands can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. Because each band is made to order, a restocking fee covers the labor and materials that go into preparing it for resale.
- Wood, Titanium & Silver: $150 ($200 for custom designs)
- 10K Gold (standard): $300
- 14K Gold (standard): $450
- 18K Gold (standard): $600
- Ready-to-Ship (in stock): $75 return / $25 exchange (plus any price difference)
The material fees above apply to wedding bands only. Engagement rings follow the section below, regardless of metal.
Ready-to-Ship Wedding Bands (finished, in stock)
The most flexible option. Return for a $75 fee, or exchange for $25 (plus any price difference), within 30 days.
Engagement Rings
An engagement ring has two parts — the setting we craft and the stone we source — so the policy treats them separately. Which rule applies depends on how your ring was made.
Made-to-order, standard setting
If you ordered one of our standard settings made to order, you can return it within 30 days. A 15% restocking fee on the setting covers the hand labor that went into building it.
The center stone is handled separately — see Specialty & Sourced Stones below.
Custom engagement rings
Rings with a custom stone, setting modifications, or your own materials are final sale. In place of returns, we offer free resizing within 60 days of delivery (conditions apply), so the fit is always right.
If your plans change on a custom ring, reach out anyway — we'll always look for a way to help, including credit toward a future piece where we can.
Specialty & Sourced Stones
When you choose a stone for a custom design, we buy it from our supplier and reserve it for your ring. Our supplier's return window is short, so timing matters:
- Within 14 days of the stone purchase: If you cancel, we'll do everything we can to send the stone back. A $150 sourcing & handling fee is retained from your refund.
- After 14 days: The supplier's window has closed and the stone can no longer be returned. At that point the stone is non-refundable.
- One-off specialty cuts and any stone marked non-refundable at purchase are final sale, regardless of timing.
We'll always make this clear when you select your stone, so there are no surprises later.
Resizing
Fit is the most common reason a ring doesn't feel right — and it's the easiest to fix. We offer free resizing within 60 days of delivery on eligible rings (conditions apply). Before you start a return, talk to us; a resize is often all it takes.
How Returns & Exchanges Work
- Reach out. Start your return within the 30-day window so we can take care of you.
- Pack it up. Use the original packaging and include everything that came with your ring.
- Ship it back. We'll send a prepaid, insured label.
- Refund or exchange. After we inspect your ring, we process your refund or send your new piece.
