The Story Behind This Ring

Moissanite — Born from a Meteorite, Built for a Lifetime

Moissanite was first discovered in 1893 by French scientist Henri Moissan inside a meteorite crater in Arizona. Initially mistaken for diamond due to its exceptional brilliance and high refractive index, the mineral is genuinely rare in nature. The moissanite used in jewelry today is lab-grown, offering the same optical fire as a diamond at a fraction of the cost. It ranks 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it one of the most durable gemstones available for everyday wear.

In the Adeline, an emerald-cut moissanite sits within a clean bezel setting, its architectural lines softened by a hidden halo of 16 moissanite stones tucked beneath the center stone. The brilliance is there, it just takes a closer look to find it.
