In the Larkwood, a pear-shaped center diamond sits within a setting edged with milgrain detailing, a technique borrowed from antique jewelry making in which tiny beads of metal are worked along the border of the setting by hand. The milgrain gives the ring its wilderness-inspired texture, making each piece feel as though it grew from the earth rather than was made in a workshop.
