The story behind this ring

This dainty silver ring is named after one of the first ladies of Whiskey, Helen Cumming. Helen owned Cardhu distillery in the late 1800s and was known as a savvy businesswoman filled with courage and energy. We paired a Weathered Whiskey Barrel Inlay with a silver band to create a winning combination.

    Since our rings are handcrafted to order, it is important for you to use one of our ring sizers and not depend on a traditional jewelers’ sizing kit to get an accurate size. Our rings are different because many are wider than traditional bands and most of our rings come in a comfort fit style.

    The Story Behind This Ring

    Weathered Whiskey Barrel Wood

    Helen Cumming owned the Cardhu Distillery in Scotland in the late 1800s. She was known as a savvy businesswoman who ran the operation with courage and practicality — and occasionally hid the mash from excise officers under laundry.

    This ring was named for her. The inlay is weathered whiskey barrel wood — your choice of distillery, charred white oak with gray and black tones — set into a clean silver band. A dainty ring with a remarkable backstory.
