10K gold is harder than 14K and 18K, but 14K and 18K are more pure and therefore more valuable. 18K gold has the highest purity and is the most valuable, but it is also the softest among the three. While a 10K gold ring will be nearly identical in color to a 14K gold ring, an 18K gold ring will have a richer, deeper yellow hue due to its higher gold content.

Agatized dinosaur bone from Utah — a fossil where ancient minerals gradually replaced the cells of prehistoric creatures, leaving a reddish material that still carries their capillary structure. Muonionalusta meteorite from one of only 40 known fragments of the oldest known meteorite ever found, its black dust sparkling with silver iron. Earth and sky, prehistoric and cosmic.
