10K gold is harder than 14K and 18K, but 14K and 18K are more pure and therefore more valuable. 18K gold has the highest purity and is the most valuable, but it is also the softest among the three. While a 10K gold ring will be nearly identical in color to a 14K gold ring, an 18K gold ring will have a richer, deeper yellow hue due to its higher gold content.

The story behind this ring
This dainty titanium ring is named after one of the first ladies of Whiskey, Helen Cumming. Helen owned Cardhu distillery in the late 1800s and was known as a savvy businesswoman filled with courage and energy. We paired Weathered Whiskey Barrel Inlay with a durable, lightweight, hypoallergenic titanium band to create a winning combination.

Since our rings are handcrafted to order, it is important for you to use one of our ring sizers and not depend on a traditional jewelers’ sizing kit to get an accurate size. Our rings are different because many are wider than traditional bands and most of our rings come in a comfort fit style.

The Story Behind This Ring
Weathered Whiskey Barrel Wood
Helen Cumming owned the Cardhu Distillery in Scotland in the late 1800s. She was known as a savvy businesswoman who ran the operation with courage and a sharp eye — and occasionally hid the mash from excise officers under laundry.
This ring was named for her. A dainty titanium band with a weathered whiskey barrel inlay — your choice of distillery, charred white oak with gray and black tones — in a combination as timeless as it is understated.
