Blue Goldstone Ring Inlay

Goldstone, or aventurine glass, captures the allure of the night sky with a dazzling matrix of metal inclusions reminiscent of celestial beauty. Goldstone is made in a variety of colors, but we selected blue goldstone—composed of quartz sand, cobalt, copper oxides, and other metal oxides—for its unique coloring that resembles a piece of the midnight sky inlaid in the ring design.

A product of human ingenuity, the invention of goldstone is often accredited to Vincenzo Miotti, from the family of 17th-century Venetian glassmakers. However, legend has it goldstone was unintentionally discovered by an unknown religious order of Italian monks who spilled copper shavings into molten glass while trying to make gold. Whether its origins are artistry or chance, this extraordinary material is a marvel that evokes the majesty and mystery that pervades our vast universe.

Titanium! The awesomest alloy! The incredible metal! We love titanium because it's lightweight, yet an extremely hard and durable metal: considered strong as steel, but almost 50% lighter, making it an excellent choice for everyday wear. It has a warm feel compared to other metals and is both hypoallergenic and corrosion-resistant.

We crafted our titanium bands as an ode to the old Airstream trailers and the silver airplanes from the 1930s and 40s. Your ring is guaranteed to have a classy look that spans generations!
