10K gold is harder than 14K and 18K, but 14K and 18K are more pure and therefore more valuable. 18K gold has the highest purity and is the most valuable, but it is also the softest among the three. While a 10K gold ring will be nearly identical in color to a 14K gold ring, an 18K gold ring will have a richer, deeper yellow hue due to its higher gold content.

The story behind this ring
The Reeves is a solid gold ring inspired by Bass Reeves, a legendary lawman of the Wild West and the first black deputy U.S. marshal to serve west of the Mississippi River. Reeves was fiercely dedicated to justice and protecting America's lawless western frontier during the late 19th century.
This solid gold ring features a mesquite wood inlay, and a natural turquoise inlay to commemorate his 32-year service as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, known today as Oklahoma.

Bass Reeves became the first Black deputy US marshal west of the Mississippi, serving 32 years in some of the most lawless territory in the country. He earned his reputation through quiet resolve and an unbreakable sense of justice.
This ring honors that legacy with a combination of materials from his world: mesquite wood — the hardwood of early settlers and frontier builders — alongside natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise from Arizona, the stone of the land he protected.
