10K gold is harder than 14K and 18K, but 14K and 18K are more pure and therefore more valuable. 18K gold has the highest purity and is the most valuable, but it is also the softest among the three. While a 10K gold ring will be nearly identical in color to a 14K gold ring, an 18K gold ring will have a richer, deeper yellow hue due to its higher gold content.

Since our rings are handcrafted to order, it is important for you to use one of our ring sizers and not depend on a traditional jewelers’ sizing kit to get an accurate size. Our rings are different because many are wider than traditional bands and most of our rings come in a comfort fit style.

The Story Behind This Ring
Vintage Coffee from 1941
This ring carries a story inside it — literally.
The inlay is genuine vintage coffee from a sealed 1941 Hills Bros. can. Still fresh. Set into solid recycled gold. In WWII, coffee was rationed — families could only get a pound every five weeks, while German U-boats were sinking the ships that carried shipments from Brazil. An unopened can from that era is a small piece of that history.
Also available with beans from your favorite coffee shop, sent to our workshop. Handcrafted to order in North Carolina from SCS-certified 100% recycled gold.
