Although titanium was first discovered in the late 1700s, it really came into its own in the 1950s and 60s -- just in time for critical missions like the moon landing.

This hand-ground and faceted titanium wedding band shows off its greyish hues, while the optional offset metal inlay adds a pop of color and refinement.

The Apollo Titanium Ring Features:

  • Lightweight, durable, hypoallergenic titanium ring
  • An optional offset metal inlay of your choosing (we like brass)

The Story Behind the Ring

The Apollo 11 Moon Landing and Titanium

The moon landing was a critical mission for the United States. It not only helped to cement the US as a leader in space technology, but it also helped to advance the use of a number of materials, one of those being titanium.

Titanium was used in the Apollo 11 spacecraft so we decided to give it a nod in this design.

Faceted Titanium Wedding Band

Each Apollo ring is hand ground to add a unique faceted texture. The rough texture allows the titanium to show of its grey hues, especially in the right lighting.

Titanium! The awesome alloy! The incredible metal! We love titanium because it's lightweight yet very durable. It has a warm feel compared to other metals and can take on a number of different shades depending on the finish.
