The Story Behind This Ring

Iridescent Mother of Pearl

Galia is Hebrew for "born from the waves." This ring was named with intention.

Mother of pearl — the nacre formed inside mollusks like oysters and abalone as they build and strengthen their shells — has been used in jewelry and ornamentation for millennia. The iridescent shimmer is entirely natural, a byproduct of the mineral layers the creature creates to protect itself. In this ring, it is set simply into a polished gold band, with nothing added and nothing taken away.
