The Story Behind This Ring

Moonstone & Green Tourmaline — Celestial Light Meets Living Green

Moonstone belongs to the feldspar mineral family and is prized for its adularescence, an optical phenomenon where light scatters between microscopic layers within the stone, producing a soft, billowing glow that appears to move. No two moonstones carry exactly the same quality of light. Long associated with intuition, femininity, and the rhythms of the natural world, it has been used in jewelry since ancient Roman times and remains one of the most distinctive center stone choices in a vintage inspired engagement ring.

Green tourmaline is a pleochroic gemstone, meaning it displays different shades of green depending on the angle from which it is viewed. Its rich color comes from trace amounts of iron within the crystal structure, and its 7 to 7.5 Mohs hardness rating makes it a durable choice for everyday wear. In the Myzelle, the milky luminescence of the moonstone and the vivid depth of the tourmalines are set within gold detailing drawn from the organic forms of the Art Nouveau era, each element chosen to feel less like jewelry and more like something found in nature.

Five-Star Reviews
We had such a wonderful experience with Rustic and Main. The unboxing alone felt special—it came complete with a certificate of authenticity for the WWII M1 Garand Rifle Stock used in the inner inlay of my fiancé’s wedding ring. The craftsmanship was evident in every detail.
