The Story Behind This Ring

Natural Black Diamond — Dark by Nature, Brilliant by Design

Black diamonds are among the most distinctive stones in the natural world. Unlike colorless diamonds, which derive their brilliance from light passing through the stone, natural black diamonds get their color from clusters of dark mineral inclusions, primarily graphite, distributed throughout the crystal structure. No two natural black diamonds carry exactly the same depth or pattern of color. They rank 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, making them the hardest natural substance on earth and one of the most durable choices for everyday wear.

The diamond cluster accents surrounding the Nova's center stone are lab-grown, with the same chemical and optical properties as mined diamonds. Their brilliance was chosen deliberately to frame the black center stone, the contrast between the deep natural diamond and the sparkling halo creating the celestial effect the Nova was designed around.

Five-Star Reviews
We had such a wonderful experience with Rustic and Main. The unboxing alone felt special—it came complete with a certificate of authenticity for the WWII M1 Garand Rifle Stock used in the inner inlay of my fiancé’s wedding ring. The craftsmanship was evident in every detail.
