10K gold is harder than 14K and 18K, but 14K and 18K are more pure and therefore more valuable. 18K gold has the highest purity and is the most valuable, but it is also the softest among the three. While a 10K gold ring will be nearly identical in color to a 14K gold ring, an 18K gold ring will have a richer, deeper yellow hue due to its higher gold content.

Since our rings are handcrafted to order, it is important for you to use one of our ring sizers and not depend on a traditional jewelers’ sizing kit to get an accurate size. Our rings are different because many are wider than traditional bands and most of our rings come in a comfort fit style.

The Story Behind This Ring
New Zealand Abalone Shell & Blue Ridge Coral
The Pāua is named after the extraordinary abalone shell at its heart — a New Zealand native known as "Sea Opal" for the way it shifts between blue, green, and violet depending on how the light catches it.
This ring pairs AAA-grade Pāua shell with blue ridge coral, also known as Heliopora Coerulea, a striking material whose vivid skeleton has been used as an emblem of the ocean's hidden depths for generations. Together, they create something that looks like the sea itself is set into the band.
