10K gold is harder than 14K and 18K, but 14K and 18K are more pure and therefore more valuable. 18K gold has the highest purity and is the most valuable, but it is also the softest among the three. While a 10K gold ring will be nearly identical in color to a 14K gold ring, an 18K gold ring will have a richer, deeper yellow hue due to its higher gold content.

The Santa Fe sunrise hits in layers — deep purple giving way to orange and gold before the day settles into that New Mexico blue.
This ring captures that palette. Black cherry wood from a tree that came down on our own property — cut, sealed, cured, and split by hand — frames a center channel of Sleeping Beauty turquoise with gold flakes. Familiar and handcrafted in the most literal sense.
Made to order in North Carolina from SCS-certified 100% recycled gold.
