The Story Behind This Ring

Natural Citrine, Peridot & Diamond — Three Stones, One Story

Citrine is a variety of quartz whose warm golden and amber hues come from trace amounts of iron within the crystal structure. One of the more abundant gemstones in nature, it has historically been associated with warmth, optimism, and clarity. Peridot is one of the few gemstones that forms in only one color, its distinctive yellow-green hue determined entirely by the presence of iron, with no two stones carrying exactly the same intensity of tone. Known to ancient Egyptians as the gem of the sun, peridot forms deep in the earth's mantle and is brought to the surface through volcanic activity, and has even been found in meteorites.

The natural diamond accents flanking the center stones rank 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, the hardest natural substance on earth, chosen for their brilliance and durability. In the Sierra, the warm orange of the citrine and the vivid green of the peridot sit side by side within a vintage-inspired setting, a combination of color and craftsmanship that feels less like jewelry and more like a season captured in gold.

Five-Star Reviews
We had such a wonderful experience with Rustic and Main. The unboxing alone felt special—it came complete with a certificate of authenticity for the WWII M1 Garand Rifle Stock used in the inner inlay of my fiancé’s wedding ring. The craftsmanship was evident in every detail.
