The Story Behind This Ring

USS New Jersey Battleship Teak Wood

The USS New Jersey is the most decorated battleship in United States naval history. Launched on December 7, 1942 — exactly one year after Pearl Harbor — she served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Cold War before her final decommissioning in 1991.

This ring features a center inlay of teak wood from her original historic decks — the same wood that generations of US sailors walked, served on, and protected. Our sourcing goes directly to the restoration and preservation of the Battleship New Jersey.
