10K gold is harder than 14K and 18K, but 14K and 18K are more pure and therefore more valuable. 18K gold has the highest purity and is the most valuable, but it is also the softest among the three. While a 10K gold ring will be nearly identical in color to a 14K gold ring, an 18K gold ring will have a richer, deeper yellow hue due to its higher gold content.

Since our rings are handcrafted to order, it is important for you to use one of our ring sizers and not depend on a traditional jewelers’ sizing kit to get an accurate size. Our rings are different because many are wider than traditional bands and most of our rings come in a comfort fit style.
If you haven't used our ring sizing kit, select that option and we'll send a FREE ring sizing kit to you with your order. We will begin production on your ring once we have your correct size and width.
All rings are made to order and ship within the timeframe shown on the product page. We offer free US shipping and a 30-day return policy on non-custom items. Read our full return policy here.
The Story Behind This Ring
USS North Carolina Battleship Teak Wood
She earned 15 battle stars. She led every major naval offensive in the Pacific during WWII. And after she was decommissioned in 1947, the original teak wood of her decks was made available to the public in limited supply.
The USS North Carolina ring carries two inlays of that wood — the same teak that 144 officers and 2,195 enlisted men walked, fought, and stood on during the war. The offset design gives it a modern edge. The wood gives it a story that doesn't need embellishment.
Handcrafted to order in North Carolina from SCS-certified 100% recycled silver. Teak color varies naturally.
