This ring carries authentic WWI olive drab uniform wool — the first iteration of that material issued to US Army troops — alongside walnut wood from a WWII-era Springfield 1903 rifle stock, a rifle so rare in the materials world we source it carefully from authenticated pieces. The two inlays represent two wars, two generations, and the thread of service that ran through both.
