Ring Exchange Policy

An exchange is only necessary when your existing ring cannot be resized. Metal rings can typically go up in size by about a quarter of a size, but cannot be sized down. If your ring is too big, we will need to do an exchange to correct the sizing.

You can exchange a ring within the first 30 days of receiving it at no cost to you, provided you used one of our ring sizers to obtain your ring size. See, in-stock, gold, & custom ring exceptions below.

Exchanges can be done for a ring of equal or lesser value. Any alterations that would cause the price of the ring to increase will be charged accordingly. The existing ring must be returned like new and unworn, which includes not using it for any pictures or special ceremonies.

Exchanges are subject to a $150, or greater, fee when you used our ring sizer and have had your ring for more than 30 days OR in the event you did not use our ring sizer to obtain your ring size. Refusal of a Rustic & Main sizing kit or staff video approval for gold, will also void any resize warranty, incurring additional fees for any resize or exchange needs.

We do not accept exchanges after 90 days of you receiving the ring.

In-Stock (Ready to Ship) rings are not eligible for a free exchange. A restocking fee will apply plus any price differences between ring styles.

Gold Ring Exchange Exceptions

If you have a ring made from gold or other precious metals, please contact us as these will incur additional fees pending the karat weight of the gold selected.

Exchanged rings are given a FREE priority order upgrade and will follow the turnaround time for priority orders. 

Why would you need an exchange?

An exchange can be done for various reasons, like needing a different size ring in the event we cannot resize your current ring. Metal rings that are too big CAN NOT be sized down. Rings that are too small can typically be sized up by 1/4 of a size.

To ensure proper sizing for gold rings, customers are required to use Rustic & Main metal sizers and provide a video showing the sizer on their finger. This step is essential for accuracy and to uphold the standards of our craftsmanship.

Failure to follow this process may:

• Void the sizing warranty
• Incur Exchange Fees ($300 - $600)
• Result in additional charges to cover the cost of gold required to craft a new ring.
